Teko was a top three finalist in the Mazda Design Competition held in Poland. The brief was to design a piece of sporting equipment inspired by the recently released Mazda CX-5 Crossover to encourage spontaneous trips into the wilderness. A kite is a perfect medium for relaxation and does not need a specific destination - you can go anywhere. The frame was inspired by the Mazda Teko grille.
